A new study has found that consumers are not reviewing their credit cards or loans as often as they should. It showed that nearly half of credit card customers and 86 per cent of loan customers did not review their balance or monthly payments in the last year, even though almost 90 per cent of UK adults say they are confident about how they manage their personal finances . Homebuyer Tax Credit Extension In the Works?

In case you haven’t heard, the House of Representatives voted yesterday to extend the homebuyer tax credit by three months, but only in a limited fashion.

More specifically, they’re looking to extend the deadline for closing on your new home if you went under contract before the April 30th deadline. If, on the other hand, you’re currently shopping for a new home, this measure won’t help.
